Liuli is known as one of the Seven Treasures of Buddhism, and it is also known as one of China’s five famous artifacts.
In ancient Chinese artificial colored glaze, the main component of the surface enamel is lead barium glass, so it is not suitable for making eating utensils. It is usually used for commonly used decorations/rituals and funeral items. Among them, ancient buildings and modern Chinese buildings are also important decorative components. Since ancient times, Liuli has inherited profound cultural connotations and mythological colors.
現代制作琉璃以脫蠟鑄造法為主，整個過程經歷47道繁瑣瑣事，其中幾道手工加工，在1000多度的高溫爐子裡煅燒至少七天之久，當中火候把握之難可以說是一半靠技藝一半憑運氣。其色彩流雲漓彩，美輪美奐；至使品質晶瑩剔透，光彩奪目。
